Funky nails

I wanted something different!

I saw a similar design and I recreated it

with some changes.

The base colors

Bettina Pink Bikini, SC Black on Black

and Orly Angel Face

The design

Diamonds!

This is two coats of SC Black on Black

with one coat of CC Covered in Diamonds.

Wow!

I can't stop staring at my nails!

Covered in Diamonds is really thick 

and difficult to apply,

but you can play around with the flakies.

Removing glitter

I'm going to share with you guys

my really easy way to remove glitter. 

If you have Facets of Fuchsia 

you already know it's not that easy to remove.

This mani is like 2 days old. 

First, get 5 cotton balls 

and your favorite acetone. 

Soak each one in acetone

and place them on top of the nail

applying some force to it so they really stay.

Leave them on for about 2 minutes. 

Then apply some pressure and slide the cotton ball of. 

Take one of those used cotton balls, no need to use a new one,

apply a bit more of acetone and clean the nails to remove 

any nail polish that you have left. 

And, you are all done. 

Please excuse my stained naked nails.

I use a base coat and still I get a lot of staining.

I have wore this before, 

but I was dying to use it again. 

One coat of Revlon Facets of Fuchsia 

over two coats of SC Black On Black.

but I really wanted to wear this one last night to go out.

Now, I'm thinking about what mani 

I should do for my Birthday weekend.
I turn 31 on January 19. 

Any ideas?

Also, I'm going to Las Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastian

this Thursday and I want something bright & special.

Remake!

When I'm wearing a mani for more than 2 days,

I like to change it up a bit.

So if I don't have time to change it too much,

I just add an accent nail.

I just added two coats of Psychedelic Sunshine.

Mint holo!

This is two coats of SC Mint Apple

and two coats of WnW Blue Want To Be A Millionaire.

It's so pretty and delicate. 

I'm really getting into layering. 

I love it!

It's like changing every nail polish you own

into a new one.

Layering!

I started with 2 coats SC Fig

then added 2 coats of WnW Hannah Pinktana.

But it wasn't enough! 

I wanted more!

So I change the ring finger 

into an accent nail with Fig [2 coats],

and added 2 coats of Kleancolor Kiss Goodbye 

to the other nails.

Now, that's better!

My stash!

I changed Enrique's crib for a toddler bed,

and the crib had this drawer that you put under it.

So I decided to use it for my nail polish

and hide it under my bed.

I'm missing like 7 n/p

that I was using for swatches 

and realized when I was editing the pics.
