Frankens

I'm going to share with you guys
the frankens that I did.

First a group pic.

Now Luna...
I  did one coat of  Bettina #197 has a base color.
I could have used it on it's own,
like it's shown on the picture above,
but I did the base color just to be on the save side.

And now Camila...
I did one coat of Bettina Purple for the base
because it was a bit sheer on it's own

Purple, blue and holo!

By now, you must know that I love doing random manis
that only match in colors and most of the nails have different things.
Well, here comes another one!

I used Kleancolor Neon Purple, Neon Agua
and Holo Chrome.

Some bargain shopping!

Went out yesterday to the mall just to walk around,
and I found some really cute things.

This wallet was just $7.99 @ Marshall's.

[brand]
Lily Bloom is made from recycled plastic bottles.
How cool is that?

Also I got this purse @ PacSun
for $3 + tax.
It was marked at $9.99
and all sale items had an extra 70% off.
It retailed for $39.99!

My first franken: Cristina

I always wanted to make a franken,
but I wasn't even sure where to start.
A couple of days ago I decided to make one.
I have made 4 already.
It's so much fun and addicting!
I love it!

Thanks to Désirée for the name!
It fits perfectly!

Just another pretty pink...

I wanted something bright with glitter and sparkle.
I really think I got what I wanted.

This is Finger Paints Sketched & Etched.
It's a dark fuchsia with some shimmer.
It actually is really bright in person.
The formula is really good
and dries pretty quickly.
This is 2 coats.

I added Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fuchsia on all the nails
and Fuchsia Glitter on the ring finger.

Easter mani! *edit*

Sorry for the lack of entries,
I haven't been feeling well since Tuesday.
I have a lot of pics of manis that I have done
but still haven't edited.
I did get around editing the Easter mani pics.

First I did the french and the accent nail
using Sinful Colors Boom Boom.

Shooting Star

This is Kleancolor Shooting Star.
It's is AMAZING!
It's has a cooper/gold jelly base
with hex glitter in red, turquoise & yellow,
and some regular gold glitter.

I did a gold base before adding it,
because I wasn't sure how sheer it would be.
I used Bettina Celebrate

Now, the glitter!

Welcome to the Candy Shop!

This is Claire's Candy Shop.

There has been a lot of fuss about
it been Deborah Lippmann's Candy Shop dupe.
I would say that they have the same style.
Pink with multi-color glitter.
DL has more of a milky light pink base
and Claire's has a jelly hot pink base.
Price comparison is out of place
since there is such a difference,
so for people like me, with a low budget for buying nail polish,
it's a great way to get a similar one.

First, I added Cream Pink has a base color,
since I wasn't sure how sheer it would be.
